A very special show for obvious reasons!

The segue between Mountains and Dark Star takes my breath away every time, and the Dark Star, structured similarly to 2/27/69 is almost as special, just not quite hitting the emotional peaks of that Live Dead version.

Pity that this Owen Bro's board is rather muddy, but you can still enjoy the exuberant Cow Bell on the ripping Other One/Cryptical reprise.

But don't worry, large chunks of this Dark Star are included in Greyfolded, so its re-mastered and ready to go!
So perhaps some day we may know just how stunning this performance really was...

A little late with this, but for what it's worth, I agree that:

"The segue between Mountains and Dark Star takes my breath away every time,"

Arbuthnot and I have discussed this at length, and I think the three of us probably agree that it is one of the more emotive transitions the boys provided us with...

Really f'in cool.
